Drawn & Quarterly

Well, of course, Drawn & Quarterly will be there! Special guest appearances by Ron Rege, Jr (with some one-of-a-kind items and cheap art for the people) and Marc Bell (with out-of-print copies of Shrimpy and Paul and maybe a copy of The Stacks or two and unbelievably expensive fancy-pants drawings.) Also, come by and say hello to the latest edition to the D+Q family, Kit Malo. Oh, and maybe we can talk Genevieve Castree and Julie Doucet to sign for a little bit.

Skyscraper (Who's Sponsoring?)

Skyscraper is an independent music magazine, published 4 times per year, dedicated to informed and insightful coverage of a wide range of progressive, adventurous, and underground music. We cover everything from indie rock and punk/post-punk to rock'n'roll, garage rock, indie-pop, hardcore, metal, electronic, Americana (country, folk, and blues), and avant-garde/noise music - pretty much anything that's a little left-field and exciting and bold - and we review music-related books and films in addition to records. Our offices are based in New York City and Boulder, Colorado, with our writers spread across the US, Canada, and the UK. The magazine is sold extensively throughout North America, as well as overseas, and can be found in record shops, newsstands, and bookstores. Individual issues and subscriptions can always be ordered directly from our website. {copy snagged from their myspace page.}

Cheap Opulence (Who's Coming?)

Why use words when a flickr set will do the trick?

A heart apart (Who's Coming?)

A Heart Apart is a childish take on grown-up vintage, with tons of pearls and charms and other pretty things. Designed by Chantal Braganza from Toronto, these earrings, necklaces and bracelets have cute little details like tiny shell birds, glass beads and hand wound brass wire. The finishing touch is the burnished, antiqued finish of the brass, just gorgeous. {Copy grabbed from the nice folks at Headquarters Galerie.}

Headquarters (Who's Coming)

Headquarters is a beautiful shop in the Village in Montreal focusing on emerging artists and designers. The owners Angie Johnson and Tyson Bodnarchuk each have their own lines at the shop as well. Angie focuses on the woodsy, cutesy and cuddly with her log pillows and beautifully made owl plush where Tyson is all about what's hiding under your bed, hand painting his little monster creations on to vintage bags, shoes and suitcases.

Velvet Moustache (Who's Coming?)

Velvet Moustache is Majorie Labreque-Lepage and Benoit Masse who brought together their backgrounds in fashion, art and design to bring you their Eco Deco Art Toys. Their creatures are brought to life with organic cotton and home sewing making them a unique gift for children young and old.

Furni! (Who's Coming?)

Meet FURNI:

"Started a little over 4 years ago by Devin Barrette and myself (Mike Giles), Furni began as a 'custom' furniture operation. Back then we cashed in our unemployment cheques and, tired of working for the “man”, decided to go it alone. Using our first deposit cheque to pay for tools we managed to rent a small shop and dig in...lucky for us Devin's cabinet making skills and my limited knowledge of design got us a good start. These days were are shifting focus more and more to exploring and creating our own designs, we’re still very hands on, from picking the rough lumber all the way to staining, finishing, boxing and shipping the final product. We are just a two man operation, but proud of the flexability and control it gives us over the end product. If you guys keep on buying we will keep on creating!"
